FAQ’s of Processing your fiber


  • Is there a minimum?
    •

    For roving the minimum is 5lbs. For spinning the minimum is 10bs

  • What kinds of fiber can we process?
    •

    We can process all types of sheep wool, long drapey fibers such as Gotland might need carrier wool to make going through the machines easier, sometimes as little as 10% makes all the difference. We can process Alpaca as long as we can blend it with a nice carrier wool to help hold everything together.  

    1. Staple length- We can process fiber from 3” up to 7”
